Extra points if power-slid into this position, right?

Kinja'd!!!

Yes, I’ve driven BMWs. Yes this is a stupid stereotype, and largely rubbish. Clearly perpetuating said stereotype is not productive. Did not find the rule about all posts having to be productive. Happy Monday.

I don’t see anything wrong with that... it’s not on another spot or blocking anyone. Just closer to the pole to avoid dinging someone opening the door.

That parking looks pretty sensible to me. Doors for two door coupes are stupidly long so I’m sure it makes it much easier for a passenger to get in and out.

“get as far away from the escolade as possible.” I’m ok with this.

I’ve parked like this in garages before if I’m in a corner space. Makes getting in & out easier.

Is he encroaching on another parking spot or a designated reserved spot for handicaps/etc?

if no, then it’s ok

He’s in the buffer for the pillar, not encroaching on anybody else’s parking space, leaving more room for his passenger to get in and out and for the next guy’s passenger to get in and out. And he’s protecting his beloved automobile from careless door dings for the benefit of the next owner. This driver deserves your thanks, not your scorn.

Note: not scorn. I don’t scorn that easily, especially over total non-issues like this one. I did make the power slide comment, which was more of a compliment.

Yeah, I did not put in the post that this is the first time I’ve seen him park with so much flare. Normally totally between the lines.

Based on the responses here, I think I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
